So I am sooo restless right now. Yesterday I got my hopes up that labor was coming because I was having BH contractions all day 12-15 mins apart. So I went to the doctor today and I am not dilated or opened at all and my due date is this sunday. I've been scheduled for a non-stress test, an ultrasound and then an induction on next Sunday night (july 11th). With my BP going up, protein in urine, and getting sick with fever this past Tuesday for the second time in a month, I am afraid I was not able to talk my doctor out of scheduling me for an induction this coming Monday night at 41w0d.

Ugh 40 weeks today. I know, I know it could be worse. But I am venting  to just vent ya know? A friend of mine said to request to have my membranes stripped at my next apt which is in an hour. I was 2cms and 50 percent effaced at my last apt last week. Has anyone had this done? How did it go for you ( Read more... )

So the other night I was just laying down in bed and I started to have annoying menstrual cramps.  I was talking to my friend who has had a baby and she said they could be contractions.  I truly have no idea.  The next day, I still had some cramps, nothing horrible and I felt very nauseous and just uncomfortable.

Had my doctor's appointment yesterday and yeah. I told her about the pains and what not and she didn't sound too pleased. The blood could have been the mucus plug getting ready to come out.
